Christmas day is getting closer and it’s almost present time. One of my favorite things to do for my girls is fill up Santa Sacks, aka a bag of presents from Santa himself, and put them under the tree for them to find in the morning.

This tradition is so wonderful because we go all out. We leave faux snow by our fireplace and it leads to the place where the bags are left by the tree. If you’ve never created a Santa sack for your kiddos, today’s free svg file will help you do just that.

Free Santa Sack SVG File for Cricut and Silhouette projects from PerfectStylishCuts.com. Perfect to make a Christmas toy bag from Santa.

Making a Santa sack is a really simple thing to do. You will just need a big blank canvas laundry bag (I get mine on Amazon), some iron on vinyl in the colors of your choice, and the free cut file design that I’m including for you at the bottom of this post.

The design that I’ve included has two different colors that I used, but if you’d like to save the heat transfer vinyl and make this an even faster project to complete, you can just weld the entire design together and cut it out all in one single color.

A single color design would go really good on any bag, but just know that there are also other colors and patterns that you can use. I found these beautiful buffalo plaid patterned bags on Amazon and I’m in love with them!

Once you’ve gathered all your materials, you want to just press your design down onto the bag and then it’s time to customize it with your kid’s name.

You can use a permanent marker to write their name out in the blank space that the design has, or an even better option is to cut out their name to iron on as well. I usually just do their first name but I bet nick names would be so cute to do as well.

If you have a craft business, this design makes for a great product that your customers will love. You can start selling them as early as October and November and offer a customization option for a small extra fee or for free as a “gift” to them.

I recommend also offering a small discount for people who order more than one at a time. Most families will have more than one child to buy these for and it’s much more appealing to buy a 2, 3 or 4 of them when the deal starts to get better and better. This will help you to get more sales than you ever imagined.

QUICK NOTE: You can use this design for personal and commercial use. If you’d like to share it with your friends (I’d LOVE THIS!), I do ask that you just link them to this post and help support my website. Also, please don’t upload it to a print on demand (POD) website, or send it for mass production.

I have a quick favor to ask. Before you download this freebie, please JOIN the Facebook Group (CLICK HERE), FOLLOW ME on Instagram (CLICK HERE) and if you can, please PIN one of the images above.

Thank you so much for your support, and if you make anything with this design, tag me @PerfectStylishCuts, I love seeing your makes.
