Carving pumpkins is one of the funnest things that me and my family like to do for Halloween.
Usually we schedule our pumpkin patch trip just a few days before Halloween night, where we pick our pumpkins that we’re going to carve.
Usually we stand around our table while I try to draw our designs on our pumpkins before we start the carving, but last year I found an even better way to accomplish beautiful looking pumpkins. Spoiler alert … use vinyl templates!

There are 4 designs included. A pumpkin face, a spooky ghost, a boo, and a Frankenstein face.
These designs are SO EASY to use, that you will wonder why you haven’t been using vinyl templates before.
All you really need is some permanent vinyl, in any color (aka use your scraps!). Then you just place your design on the pumpkins and carve around the edge of the vinyl to pull out your pieces.
My littlest one, who is not into carving pumpkins yet, likes to use the Michaels craft pumpkins and adhesive vinyl, or stickers as she calls them, to decorate hers.
QUICK NOTE: You can use these designs for personal and commercial use.
