Is this not the most hilarious Elf saying that you’ve heard yet? I think it is, and I also think it’s the perfect design to share with you on Day 2 of our Spook-Tacular Week.

So let’s talk about Elf designs for Christmas time. If you’re going to take anything away from this article, besides a cute cut file ;), I think it should be that Elf crafts are HOT during Christmas.

If you’re a seller or wondering what sorts of crafts to make for yourself or others, then look no further than all things “Elf”.

Just think of Elf mugs, shirts, pajama sets, the actual elf hats that can be personalized, ornaments and even signs for home decor. These are all things that can help you get started and create things that people will want by the bunches.

FYI This design is more of an adult elf cut file, so just know that this may not be one that parents want their children to wear since the “elfin” part of it may be short for a certain “f” word that is not kid friendly.

But seriously, just how perfect would this be for a white elephant gift or a secret santa? I can even see wearing this shirt to a Christmas party or adding it to a sweater with a ton of those fluff balls to make it into an ugly sweater design.

Whatever you make, just know that if you’re using going to be making mugs, you can find some really nice mug blanks at Dollar Tree for $1, can’t beat that right? Plus they do free shipping to your local store if you buy online. This is perfect if you need to order blanks in bulk.

Also, if you’re wondering what sort of vinyl to use that won’t get ruined in the dishwasher, to me it doesn’t exist yet.

You will want to use permanent vinyl or Oracal 651 and let anyone know that you gift or sell these to that they are hand wash only. That is the best way to keep your mugs looking beautiful and lasting for a long time.
