It’s the craftiest season of all and today we start our 12 Days Of Craftmas at PerfectStylishCuts!

This means that every day until Christmas Eve, you will find a new free svg file to help you create some awesome last minute Christmas craft projects or gifts for yourself, your family and friends. So be sure to come back at least once a day so you don’t miss any of the goodies.

Free Merry Christmas SVG File for Cricut and Silhouette projects from Perfect to make a single color Christmas t-shirt.

So as I said above, we are t-minus 12 days until Christmas Eve and today’s free Merry Christmas svg design is perfect to make a shirt for you or anyone you know who is going to need something to wear for the big day.

My family really likes to dress up for Christmas Eve, however Christmas Day is a really relaxed kind of day where we just spend time together, do lots of chatting, sitting, and of course eating so a t-shirt is just the thing I want to wear on that day.

Since I was thinking of myself when I was designing today’s freebie, and I LOVE single color designs, that’s what I went with. I hope you love it too.

Single color cut files have really become really popular this year. Not only are they easy to cut, but they’re also super economical since you really only need one sheet of iron-on to make a shirt.

If you’ve never tried a single color design before, what are you waiting for? Simply upload the design, mirror it and send it to cut. You’ll be pressing it in no time and you will wonder why you waited so long and why you’ve been spending all kinds of time doing multi-color shirt designs in the past.

Now I will just say that I still think that multi-color designs are great for kids shirts and other projects as well, but I think that for adults, a single color design is just perfect.

Free Merry Christmas SVG File With A Grunge Texture for Cricut and Silhouette projects from Perfect to make a Christmas day shirt.

As you can see in this photo, I decided to include a grunge option for this design as well. I won’t be doing for all of the designs going forward, however since the Thanksgiving one was such a hit, I thought why not do it to this one. I feel like single color designs are perfect to make with a grunge texture too.

Like I said in my last post where I created this style using my own Distress / Grunge Textures Kit that you can purchase on These are easy to use with Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio too. You basically just need to subtract one of the textures from whatever design you want to distress and you’re ready to go.

I also just wanted to mention that this design doesn’t necessarily need to go on a t-shirt. You can really use this in many ways. I think it would look so pretty on a mug and even greeting cards.

If you choose to make greeting cards, I suggest using 110 lb card stock, which you can buy on Amazon and pretty much any craft and office supply store.

You can then use some pens or markers with your cutting machine to put this design on each of your cards. I suggest using some of the thicker point pens and if you’re using Cricut Design Space, it’s easy to turn any design in a pen friendly design too.

After you’ve uploaded the design to Design Space, use the top toolbar to find the “Linetype” drop down menu and then select “draw”. This will turn your design into outlines basically and those are the lines that the pen will draw.

The reason why i suggested thicker pens is because there are hollow parts when you turn this cut file into a drawing file, however if you use thicker pens it will end up looking more solid when the machine is finished. Trust me, the finished look will be beautiful if you choose to go this route.

QUICK NOTE: You can use these designs for personal and commercial use. If you’d like to share them with your friends (I’d LOVE THIS!), I do ask that you just link them to this post and help support my website. Also, please don’t upload it to a print on demand (POD) website, or send it for mass production.

I have a quick favor to ask. Before you download these freebies, please JOIN the Facebook Group (CLICK HERE), FOLLOW ME on Instagram (CLICK HERE) and if you can, please PIN one of the images above.

Thank you so much for your support, and if you make anything with this design, tag me @PerfectStylishCuts, I love seeing your makes.
