Guess what today is? Yes, it’s the start of our Spook-Tacular Week! I’ve been waiting for this day ever since the first day of Fall.
That means get your trick or treat bags ready because there are LOTS of treats coming your way in the form of FREE and NEW designs released daily for the next 7 days.
Today we will start with this FREE Just Another Momster SVG file. I made this with all my fellow mamas in mind, because I know that the Halloween madness can quickly turn us into real mom-sters lol.
This design would be perfect to wear to events like Trunk or Treats, Haunted Houses, and Halloween parties if you’re not wearing a costume.
It’s quick and easy to make and since it’s only 2 colors. I plan to make this with black and green glow in the dark iron-on vinyl. If you’ve never tried glow in the dark iron-on, this would be the perfect occasion to try it.
A quick tip if you’re using glow in the dark iron on is to expose it to sunlight a lot before wearing it in the dark. The more sunlight it gets, the more it “charges” and the glow is brighter.
This was something that I had no idea about when I first tried glow in the dark iron-on and so I’m passing it on to you … you’re welcome ;). Also, glow in the dark vinyl glows green, and so you want to place it accordingly in your designs.
If you’re wondering where to buy this kind of vinyl, I haven’t seen it around at a lot of the big craft stores, but most online retailers carry it. I get mine at Expressions Vinyl usually, or from Amazon if i’m in a hurry since I know there’s several Prime shipping shops that carry it.
