To say that I am in love with this quote would be a complete understatement. I’ve seen it made almost every year since I started crafting, and I always told myself that I would make my own (aka design a file for it) and then actually “make” my own to use as decor around my house.

Well, after 3 years, I finally did it and I’m sharing it with you today!

Have you seen this quote before? What do you think of it? Leave me a comment below.

Remember that making signs like this is NOT difficult. It’s pretty easy. If you have no idea how to make a framed wood sign, then perhaps try making this using a blank canvas and use the “reverse canvas” method.

You will need a blank canvas, different color acrylic paints OR iron-on vinyl (yes, you can just iron on heat transfer vinyl onto the canvas.), some stencil vinyl, a staple gun, and some paint brushes.

People always ask me what stencil vinyl I think is best to use when making signs, and my answer is always Oracal Oramask 813. This is perfect for signs!

QUICK NOTE: You can use this design for personal and commercial use. If you’d like to share it with your friends (I’d LOVE THIS!), I do ask that you just link them to this post and help support my website. Also, please don’t upload this to a print on demand (POD) website, or send them for mass production.

I have a quick favor to ask. Before you download this freebie, please, FOLLOW ME on Instagram (CLICK HERE) and PIN one of the images above.

Thank you so much for your support, and if you make anything with this design, tag me @PerfectStylishCuts, I love seeing your makes.

P.S. These designs are made to work with your cutting machines like Cricut and Silhouette, but the file types that you need may vary.

If you’re using Cricut, you will want to use the SVG file for Design Space. If you’re using Silhouette though, you could need the DXF file or the SVG file, depending on which version of Silhouette Studio (the software that came with your machine) you have installed. For the free version of Studio, you will use the DXF file. For the Designer Edition, which is MUCH better and totally worth it, you can use the SVG file.
