Do you rack yourself every year thinking of something to make the kids’ teachers for Christmas? I know I do, and I have 2 teachers and multiple staff that we love and get gifts for each school each school year.

Today’s free Christmas teacher cut file design will be perfect to help you get some teacher gifts out of the way this holiday season. This design works well on a lot of different products such as mugs, shirts, tote bags, and even ornaments.

My youngest daughters teacher loves to wear Christmas shirts every day during the last week of school before Christmas break and so I knew this design would be perfect to make her a t-shirt.

Since I’m only using two colors in this design, making it is really a breeze. My biggest tip to you is to iron on the hat element first because part of the word “educator” will be layered on top of it.

As for me, I will be using red glitter iron on vinyl for the red parts of the design and I think it will look beautiful. If you’ve never tried working with glitter iron-on, just remember to follow the pressing instructions as glitter iron-on needs to be pressed at a higher temperature usually for a little bit longer than regular heat transfer vinyl.

If you’re wondering how you would find out what the teachers shirt size is, just ask. I always ask and tell my kids’ teachers what I’ll be making them and they are always so happy to tell me what size they need. I tend to order my shirts online, because I can order really soft Bella Canvas brand shirts, so knowing in their size in advance helps a ton.

If you’re crafting a little bit on the late side this holiday season, but still want to find a good shirt to use, the Target mens shirts work great for both men and women and they are really soft too.

Now, like I said above, this design would go great on just about any product that you want to use it on, but I believe that mugs also make for great Christmas gifts for teachers. I know that many people will tell you that teachers have “too many” mugs already, but seriously who doesn’t love a new mug? Especially a Christmas teacher mug!

If you’re looking for blank mugs, look no further than your local Dollar Tree. Most Dollar Tree’s carry multiple styles of mugs and almost all of them are perfect blanks to use. They are high quality and last for a long time, so don’t be hesitant to use them for this kind of projects.

Mugs also make the perfect little vessels to hold the teachers favorite candy and perhaps a gift card to their favorite coffee shop. It’s a cute and easy gift to make for administrators too.

One important note to remember since you’ll be working with a washable item, is to include some washing instructions for the teacher. Permanent vinyl, which is what you will want to use for this project, is not dishwasher or microwave safe. It is handwash only.

QUICK NOTE: You can use this design for personal and commercial use. If you’d like to share it with your friends (I’d LOVE THIS!), I do ask that you just link them to this post and help support my website. Also, please don’t upload it to a print on demand (POD) website, or send it for mass production.
