Are you big into decorating and personalizing baskets for Easter? I am! I love adding my daughters’ names to their baskets every year. I’m a little iffy about shirts, but baskets I will do!
If you’re like me and you enjoy adding your kids’s names to their Easter baskets as well, then these free Easter basket monogram SVG files are going to be some that you will want to add to your stash.
These 3 different Easter basket split monogram designs are perfect to add to your baskets and then fill with your kids names in between.
To add their name simply add some text using your cutting machine software like Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio. There are lots of free fonts to pick from in there as well, so just pick one that looks good to you.
Now all you need to do to get the perfect fit is to measure your basket side area height and then resize the design before you cut it to about 2-3 inches less than that.
Remember to have the name already in its place before you resize it to make sure that it all fits perfectly on the side of the basket.
If you choose to use these designs for this years Easter baskets, you want to remember that you can use two different kinds of vinyl.
If your baskets are plastic, you will want to use either adhesive or permanent vinyl, permanent preferred for a longer lasting basket.
If your baskets are cloth like, or canvas like, you will want to use iron-on vinyl. In this case it’s pretty hard to get it to press easily, so I recommend that if you have the Cricut Easy Press you use that.
Otherwise your regular household iron will work as well, just be patient and hold your basket from the inside with a towel and press sections to the iron until the iron on adheres.
