If you have been making face masks in this season of life that we’re in, and you’ve been wondering about ear savers as well, then this post is going to be right up your alley.
Today I’m going to share with you a free ear saver SVG file that you can use with your face masks. If you’ve been making face masks for others, you can also start to include these with them when you pass them out. People are loving them!
You might be wondering what the purpose of ear savers is and I’m happy to explain because I know that these are a relatively new thing.
Ear savers are a piece of head wear that you place behind your head and attach the elastic parts of your face mask to.
Basically instead of placing the elastic loop around your ear, you would hook it onto the ear saver. This will relieve ear strain that the elastic causes after continued use of the face mask.
Another common question that I’ve seen in regards to ear savers is: What material do you use to make them?
The answer really depends on what you have on hand, but the most popular material that people are using is plastic school folders. Sounds silly right?
It works though and it’s something that is easy to find and cut with our cutting machines. You would just need either the cover or back piece of a plastic pocket folder and you could probably get a few ear saver pieces from each one.
