Cheers to 2020! It’s going to be a great year I just know it. If you’re like me you’ve spent some time already thinking about all of the things you want to accomplish in the new year and perhaps some of them are even crafty goals.
Today I want to share a free cut file design that will help you get the year started off on high note. This design makes for a great shirt, wine or champagne glass design. If you’ve never tried tattoo paper, these would make for great tattoos that you could wear on your cheek if you’re heading out to a party.
If you’re wanting to put this design on wine or champagne glasses, you’ll want to just make sure to use permanent vinyl, I love the Oracal brand and I use the 651. You can find some on Amazon.
P.S. Remember that permanent vinyl is not dishwasher safe. It will need to be hand washed only.
I think these stemless wine glasses are the perfect vessel for this cut file and I like to pick mine up at the Dollar Tree because not only are they only $1, but they are also really good quality.
If you’re going to be making a shirt I suggest you try to use glitter or holographic iron on vinyl to get a really fabulous look. These materials look great at night and people will surely be noticing how your shirt shimmers in the dark and when the light hits it too.
If you’ve never layered heat transfer / iron on vinyl, don’t be afraid, just take it one step at a time. Cut out all the black pieces first and press those down, and then do the gold pieces. So long as elements are not touching each other when you go to press them, you’ll be okay.
You want to make sure that the transfer paper, the clear paper, is never behind any iron on pieces as this will mess up your project.
QUICK NOTE: You can use this design for personal and commercial use. If you’d like to share it with your friends (I’d LOVE THIS!), I do ask that you just link them to this post and help support my website. Also, please don’t upload it to a print on demand (POD) website, or send it for mass production.
Thank you so much for your support, and if you make anything with this design, tag me @PerfectStylishCuts, I love seeing your makes.
